We are a creative agency founded in 2008 – an experienced team with traditional values and a modern approach to integrated marketing communications

Our Experience

Collectively the Creative Heads team has experience in all aspects of marketing communications from brand identity to annual reports, public relations, events, video, website design and so much more!

We are designers, developers, digital experts, writers, strategists and marketeers to name a few. Many of us have learnt our trade at leading agencies in London and abroad before joining Creative Heads to provide first class marketing communications from a more cost-effective base in Canterbury.

Our B2B and B2C clients range from a small start-up to a global technology corporation with a turnover in excess of US$400m, including financial, software, retail, travel and manufacturing companies, not-for-profit, charities, SMEs and public sector organisations.

Our Approach

A return on investment for our clients is at the heart of the agency’s marketing approach. Some disciplines are more difficult to measure, but where possible we demonstrate best value. Sometimes the approach is strategic and complex, but we also recognise some projects just require a simple cost-effective approach with a fast turnaround.

The value is in our people and their expertise. When committing to work with us it is essential to get the chemistry right as we prefer to have a trusted, open and honest ‘partnership’ rather than a more distant client/supplier relationship.

MD & HEAD OF CREATIVE
Paul qualified in 1990 as a designer and brand identity expert who has worked at the global brand agency Landor on airline branding, inhouse at BAA on brand management, and at Polygram on design for print.

In 1997 he started his own creative agency and in 2001 merged with one of the South East’s largest integrated agencies. Then in 2005 he moved on and eventually founded Creative Heads.

He has a rare combination of creative talent and sound business management skills, helping him to win several creative awards throughout his 25 years in marketing communications.

HEAD OF STUDIO
An accomplished, multi-faceted creative – Dan combines his strategic brain, with a good eye for the aesthetic, a big heart and dedication for solving briefs and achieving for clients.

His strength is in a savvy understanding of a brand, in people and in a business.

For 15+ years he has gained versatile experience in design disciplines including brand identities, literature, advertising campaigns and website design for clients including: Chamber of Commerce, Systemair, The Arab Banking Corporation, Gillingham Football Club, Electronic Arts, Jesper Velling Jewellery, to name just a few.

HEAD OF FINANCE
Erica is a co-Director of Creative Heads and is responsible for the financial and administrative systems to ensure monies flow in and out of the company in a timely fashion – creating strong and trusted relationships with clients, suppliers and staff.

With over 10 years exeprience working in accounts departments and a further 10 years in banking, legal, sales and administrative roles, Erica is more than qualified to keep track of all aspects of the business. She helps maintain a sophisticated production system to accurately keep track of client expenses and time spent on every project.

CREATIVE, DESIGN, ADVERTISING
Marc is a Senior Art Director with over 20 years experience working on campaigns for a wide variety of clients. His wide range of skills enables him to turn his hand to anything from branding and brochure design to advertising and live events.

He started at Ogilvy & Mather in London working on press and TV campaigns for Safeways, Spillers and the Financial Times before moving on to help establish and run several smaller design, marketing and sales promotion agencies in the South East and London. He has also worked on brands such as RAC, Travelex, BAA, Samsung, HSBC, Carphone Warehouse, Pot Noodle and the School Food Trust.

HEAD OF WEB ANALYTICS – PPI, PPC & SEO
Andy is an expert in website profitability. Contrary to popular belief, website profitability doesn’t come purely from making a website highly visible in Google (whether through natural or paid advertising), but initially it comes from analysis and refinement.

Andy specialises in stopping companies wasting advertising budget on poor quality web marketing. He has 10+ years in the web industry, starting as a website strategy consultant and evolving into an expert online marketer. Straight-talking and results-driven, Andy turns under-performing websites into winners. He has always gained results within the first 3 months that exceeded the client’s initial investment.

Paul started his career as a designer and photographer before a change in direction to the digital arena of website design and development. He has accumulated over 15 years experience in this sector with a core strength in WordPress Content Managed Systems as well as SEO, UI design, web app design and e-commerce.

Clients value his design background which enables him to apply creative flair and a marketing approach when developing sophisticated and technical digital communications such as websites.

He has previously worked with clients such as Fujitsu, Crisis Action and the Chartered Institute of Building.

HEAD OF DIGITAL PRINT PRODUCTION
Experience within diverse environments has given Jane an edge that is her strength. A creative expert who identifies the key points quickly, she reliably delivers an appropriate solution on time and on budget. Whether it’s an annual report or exhibition graphics, Jane is used to handling a job from brief to design, copywriting, photography and production.

Her 23 years experience has included both working within, or heading up, creative teams such as Pollett & Cole, Pfizer, Williams Lea, GlaxoSmithkline, Royal Sun Alliance, Realia and NHS.

She is obsessed with anything creative including typography, illustration, photography and new media.
